My Expectations of Clients

Sessions begin and end at scheduled times. Sessions begun late due to the client arriving late end at the appointed time and are full price. Exceptions are made in the event of an emergency at the practitioner’s discretion.

Clients provide a health history and update when necessary.

If cancellation is necessary, please give 24-hour notice or you are charged for the appointment unless it can be filled. Exceptions are made in the event of an emergency at the practitioners discretion.

Sexual harassment is not tolerated. If the therapist’s safety feels compromised, the session is stopped immediately.

Client should attend session with good hygiene and no heavy perfumes should be used.

Be present (not under the influence of alcohol or drugs).

Payment is expected at the time service is rendered (insurance claims are discussed at time of appt.).

This office is a non-smoking environment.

My Promise to Clients

I perform services for which I am qualified and able to do (physically and emotionally), and refer to appropriate specialists when work is not within my scope of practice.

I provide my clients with a competent and professional session each time they visit, addressing their specific needs.

Clients are treated with respect and dignity regardless of their age, gender, race, national origin, sexual orientation, religion, socio-economic status, body type, political affiliation, state of health or personal habits.

I charge a fair price for my services.

I keep accurate records and review charts before each session.

I provide direct billing for KPS, Premera, Uniform, Corvel, and First Choice insurance and PIP & L&I claims. For other insurance, I will gladly assist clients in filling out the appropriate forms and I will provide an invoice for reimbursement.

I return calls within 12 hours unless I am out of town. Appointments are confirmed the day before the session.

I am available to my clients between the hours of 9 am & 8 pm, and clients may reach me through my answering machine on a 24-hour basis.

Payment is due at the time of service. I accept cash, check, & VISA/MC. There is a $15.00 fee for non-sufficient fund checks.

A written agreement for payment will be required if certain conditions are made with regular clients who have budgetary concerns.

If a client is dissatisfied with a treatment and no other arrangements are agreed upon, a 50% refund of the treatment is honored.

If I need to cancel an appointment, I do so within 24 hours whenever possible. If an emergency arises and I cannot keep an appointment, I provide a 50% discount with a client’s next session. For non-emergency cancellation of less than 24 hours, the next session is at no charge.

Personal and professional boundaries are respected at all time.

Clients are draped with a sheet at all times during the session. Only the parts of the body being worked on are exposed at any time.

I stay current with information and techniques by reading, receiving regular sessions, and taking at least one workshop per year.

Privacy and confidentiality are maintained at all times.
